A little of this ...

... and a little of that!

Well, this LO was made for a sketch challenge over at Dreampapers - my new favourite shop here in Denmark! I have used thickers from American Crafts, Sassafras Lass embellishments, QK cuts, and lefter over papers.

Today I went out shopping. A HUGE sale is going on these days here in the country and I did buy some gooodies. Clothes and scrapping supplies! :) Panduro had some very good prizes today - so I bought a little lf this and a little of that! Ohh - it's so nice!!

On Thursday we are going to ROSKILDE FESTIVAL! We almost can't wait for it to start! We are returning visitors - this year will be my 11th year at the Festival. It lasts for 4 days and it's with NO children. Just my DH, me, my brother and some very good friends. We live out there, but we do go home for a shower as we live very close by! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - it will be so wonderful!

This year we will listen to concerts by: Bjørk (islandic singer), Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nephew (Danish band), The Killers, Trendemüller (Danish) ... and a lot more! Yeehaaa!

Presents

Yesterday was my birthday! I turned 30-something! hehe!

Well, I was very surpriced to open my mailbox today! I found an envelope from Ingrid in the Netherlands. She sent me a lot of goodies. BIG flowers, smaller flowers, felt flosers, lots of ribbon, lots of buttons, different chipboard shapes and a very nice card she has created herself! Ohhh - I'm sooo lucky. I can't believe that she has remembered my birthday! Ingrid i s the one who found me online - I wrote about that in a previous post. We used to be penpals! I think she's the sweetest person in the whole world! :)

Ingrid even has made a post on her blog ONLY FOR ME! ... that's is soooo nice of her! Go see her blog - she creates beautiful stuff!

Thank you very much Ingrid!!

The "love your handwriting" book is also a birthday present! My parents bought me that and I also received "far east" textured cardstock embellishments and other bits and pieces for scrapbooking. I had a wonderful day with lovely people around me! Ohh!! I got some money too - and they will be used for SCRAPBOOKING ITEMS!! :) ... what else!??? he he!

I went to a crop

I went to a crop on Saturday! Ohhh - it was so very cosy! It was held in a local scrapbook store called Dreampapers. It lasted for 12 hours and lots of beautiful LOs were created. I created the 4 LOs you can see here. It was my first time using buttons and now I am totally hooked! I bought some foof-a-la buttons Tres Jolie buttons (from My minds eyes).
The LO called "kunst?" (it means "art?) was the first one I did. I love the photo, which I took in France last summer. We saw this wooden horse in a window and there were no signs of a museum or anything like that. I think it was a private place - but I had to shoot the photo! I thought it was so different.
The LO with black/white photos is also taken last summer. On the ferry between Denmark and Germany. It's my two lovely boys. The hearts is a scraplift from a LO I saw in a magazine and I thought it was fun to use flowers for the year (2**6 = 2006). :)
"Once upon a time" is LO about an event in the kindergarden where my boys went from they were 3-6 years old. The theme for the event in 2005 was Fairytales. The photos shows my youngest boy with his best girlfriend from kindergarden. I did a lot of doodling on this!
And last LO is a LOVE LO about me and my DH. I love, love, love the patterned paper! I bought the overlay at the crop (don't know where it's from!?) and again I have used buttons! :) OH! And one of my new favourite products is the ghost hearts from Heidi Swapp!
Now I look forward till next time I'm going to a crop! :) It's sooooooooooooo much fun!!
Thanks for stopping by!

New LOs

The LO "To gode venner" (two good friends) shows photos of my oldest son and one of his good friends. I have used my new clearstamps from Cherry Arte - and boy it was fun! :) I look forward to use those again. The title is made with rubons from Autumn Leaves. And I have used some SassafrasLass and Daisy D pappterned paper.

The other LO - which you practically can't call a LO - I have used Bazzill and a piece of BG paper. I have documentet all the things we did in May this year. Just a page I had to try to make. Maybe I do more of those. We'll see.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

I've been a very good girl today! I've been cleaning the house BIG TIME! Ahhhh it's great when it's done and now it's time for me to relax! :)

I received a little package in the mail today from Multiscrap. I can't wait to play with it! I just LOVE clearstamps (who doesn't??) and the little tagpad is so cute and has the sweetest tags in it! 24 tags all together. :)

... and a little bling from Heidi Swapp!

Well, I will go and create something! Have a nice day! And thanks for stopping by.

Tagbook

Yesterday I was reading in an old scrapbooking magazine. "THE SCRAPBOOK IDEA BOOK" vol. 9". I found a tiny article about a tagbook and I thought I would give it a try! It was fun and super fast to make this little book. The theme for my tagbook is our pond. My DH has build a beautiful pond in our garden. It was done last Summer and this year it's so beautiful with lots of blooming flowers and a lot of fish in it.
I have used a lot of left overs. Different paper: BG blush, chatterbox, Wild Asparagus. I have used primaflowers in different colors, MM flower brads, and a lot of K&Company embellishments.
I want to make one more tagbook about our pond. The next one will show how beautiful it all looks now it's done. :)
The blank tags is for journaling.
Thanks a lot for stopping by!

Made this today...

Well, today I finished this LO with the old photo of me. It was a lot of fun using retro-colors, like the ones in 1975.

The big flower is Heidi Swapp, small flowers are prima, the "happy" tag is 3 bugs in a rug, "1975" is old cardstock stickers from Kopp Design, loopy brads from Karen Foster, QK flourish and swirls and I used a Cats eye pigment brush pad to make the "pattern" in the patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by on this beautiful day of Summer. 30 degrees celcious today and lot of sun, blue sky and my two happy kids playing in the pool! :)

Old photo

A quick post before I'm off to work!

This is me at 5! I was soooo shy and hated to be in focus. Well, my mom did a good thing though - because today I'm sooo happy that I have a lot of photos from that day at the photographer - and some of the photos also show my younger brother.

Well, this photo is laying on a LO now. I didn't glue it yet - because I'm not totally satisfied with what I came up with yesterday. We'll see how it turns out.

The weather here is FANTASTIC!! We have 27 degrees celciuos, a big yellow sun and a blue, blue sky!! Ohhhhh it's SUMMER!! And it makes me totally HAPPY!

Vacation album

Last Summer we went to South of France - just the 4 of us - by car! It was a absolutely fantastic vacation! Ofcourse I took a lot of photos!! And I am creating a vacation album right now.
The LO called "Byport" doesn't have the best photos, but I just wanted to document that the old town we lived in (called Menton) actually had gates in each end. I focused on the journaling and this is the result. The flowers are QK and some rubon-flowers from K&Company.
The LO called "Udsigt" (which means view) shows the view we had from our little appartment. An absolutely stunning scenery! when we took a look to the left, we could see the border to Italy. The flowers are cut out from a BG paper and the little blue bird is a rubon from Rhonna Farrer.
*************************************
And another GREAT thing has happened!!! :)
I have been "found" via this blog!!
Explanation: I have been penpalling for years and I had so many pals from all over the world. One of them is called Ingrid and she's from The Netherlands. She posted a comment on my blog and asked if I am "the Charlotte" and I am. How fun is that!?? The world certainly is a small place! You can't hide!! he he!! :)
Well, Ingrid also is a scrapbooker now and she has her own blog! Go have a look! She just became a DT member of a Dutch site. :)

I had to try....

... a new technique. I wanted to do some creative handwriting and the word "GLAD" is what I came up with!! hehe!! I guess I need some more practice, but you have to start somewhere, right!? It was fun trying it and this won't be my last time.
The photos show my youngest one. And the title means "Alsways so happy". Words which describes him to the fullest. He always smiles and sings and it's so cosy listening to his little voice all day long while he sings lots and lots of songs.
Bazzill, K&Company (Brenda Walton), prima flowers, red metallic brads, MM alpha stickers. And doodling. :)
Thanks for stopping by!

A shared 3rd place....

I participated in a sketch challenge at Dreampapers. I made this LO and I ended up at a shared 3rd place!

The photos is taken last Summer in south of France. We visited this small town called Sospel. A very beautiful place surrounded by high mountains.

The pink flowers are homemade and colored with watercolors. The round journaling spots are Heidi Swapp. For the title I have used MM foamstamps "misunderstood". Leaves from QK. I loved creating this LO! :)

Thanks for stopping by!
