Rain, rain, rain

I'm still around ... and we still have vacation (2 weeks until work - ahhhh lovely!!). BUT the weather is soooooo boring! We've had rain for so many weeks now that it's killing me! We do go out and we have been to fun fairs, but it still rained and we got all wet ... again!!! Grrrr.

Well, to look at the bright side of it! RAINY WEATHER = CREATING MORE PAGES!! That's neat! Yesterday I was creating all day long. I made a LO for a contest (can't show it yet) and I also created a wonderful Christmas mini-album! .... I can't show that yet either, because my scanner is D-E-A-D!!! I will take some photos of it later and try to make another post on my blog!

I will show you a very old LO - which I like very much! I really like the simplicity of it! It's a scraplift from (.... somewhere ?? ... ) I can't remember from where. I think it was from 2peas.

The pic. shows my oldest one- when he was 1½ years old (now he's 9!!).
Thanks a lot for stopping by! I'll talk to you soon!

Just a little update

Actually we are on vacation right now. We have been living in my brothers and SILs cottage since Monday. Right now we are home to pick up some (warmer) chlothes!! Can you believe that!?? More challenge layouts

This page is created for the challenge over at unpubbed. I have scrapliftet Elizabeths beautiful layout. Elizabeth is this weeks famer and she creates great pages. Here's my take on the challenge. My page is called "på opdagelse" which means "exploring".

The next layout is made for a challenge over at Sisterhood of scrap.
There's an online crop going on and they come up with a lot of great challenges.
Carla has made this challenge. This is challenge #13:

~ Photo(s) must include something in nature (my picture is taken on the beach).
~ Use only paper from one manufacturer (I have used American Traditional Design papers "moments" paper collection).
~ Include a flourish (stamped, chipboard, rubons ....). (I have used a diecut flourish received from a swap).

This page is called "Lege i sandet" which means "Playing in the sand".
I loved these challenges! They make me go outside my comfort zone and I scrap differently than I'm used to! Thanks for great inspiration!!!

Thank you very much for stopping by!

New layout + I got tagged

Here's a layout I made for at challenge at this blog.

a) Doodling with a white pen
b) 4 pieces of chipboard
c) 3 different patterned papers
d) Title to be a circle or arch

Picture shows my youngest son on a rainy day! I love this shot!!

I got tagged:

I am nominated for the Rockin' Girl award. I am tagged by my online friend Ingrid, who also is my long lost pal from the Netherlands! Thanks a lot Ingrid - and I feel quite honored! This is the first time I'm tagged - and I love that I now am concidered as a Rockin' Girl Blogger!
Now I have to find 5 persons, who I want to call a Rockin' Girl Blogger:

1. Lisette - who inspires me a lot and is a wonderful Danish scrapper. I was so glad to meet her IRL last month!
2. Sollie - a new friend from Belgium. I love her blog and layouts.

3. Marianne - a Danish scrapper who has a great blog with lots of inspiration and ideas. She makes a lot of sketches - and I call her Denmarks answer to Becky Higgins! :)

4. Wati - she's from Singapore and she creates BEAUTIFUL layouts. A very talented girl - who I met online a couple of months ago. I love visitting her blog!
5. Dawn - last but not least! I don't know if Dawn is nominated earlier, but she really deserves A LOT OF credit for all her work! She creates beautiful layouts and she keep to amaze me. She has CT and DT positions and is so very talented! I love her work!!

All about Eve challenge

I've found a great challenge-blog called All about Eve
The themes are BOM related and it's bi-weekly challenges.
This time the theme is Age - and this is my result:

My title is "Yes! I really am 37". So many people don't think I am 37 - all my life I've had to "defend" my age and that has been really irriting. People always think I am younger than I am - and I'm soooo tired of explaining my age all the time! This is what I've journaled about.
MATERIALS USED: Papers and square embellishments are Sassafras Lass. Foof-a-la buttons "going places collection". Flowers are Prima "Mini Me". Heidi Swapp jewels for the center of the flowers. Scrappers floss. I have doodled with a brown slick writer fine point.

Thanks a lot for stopping by!

Book Of Me

I'm participating in BOM challenges over at Dreampapers - a Danish forum. Every 2nd week we get a new challenge. This time we had to scrap our favourite music. I knew right away that I would make a page about DEPECHE MODE! I love their music! I've been a fan since I was 15 years old - (and now I'm 37!!). I've been to 4 of their concerts and I sure hope that I will go to one more some day! :)

It was fun creating a LO without photos! I have used concert tickets and pictures from a brochure I got to one of their concerts. I have used buttons and scrappers floss, Journaling clear stamp from Cherry Arte, ghost hearts from Heidi Swapp, chipboard crown is DCWV. The red piece of paper is BG.
For my Danish readers: I know I have made a mistake in the title! It is edited on the original by now.

Thanks a lot for stopping by!

I scrap a lot

I scrap a lot these days! It's so nice to have some time for it in the evenings. And the long, bright summer nights are great for scrapping! But still it seems like I surf the internet more than I scrap! I visit so many different blogs (and I love it!!), I get a lot of inspiration that way - but suddently I've used a couple of hours looking at my computer screen ...

Well, I do scrap a lot these days, like I said before.

I'm a slow scrapper - so one layout usually take 2 days for me to finish! Yeah... it does! Sometimes I create one layout in one day. Again it depends on how much time I use on the internet.

Last time I went to a crop I made 4 layouts!! In 10 hours! That's neat! And I know why I manged to create so many pages ... it was because I had no internet access! :)

I startet this layout yesterday and I've just finished it. I like the result! And I love that I've used paint again - it's a long time ago I did that. It's MM acrylic paint "cornflower". The arrow is Cherry Arte and I've threated it with ColorBox Cat's Eye pigment brush pad "smoke blue". The title "av!" (which means "ouch!") is felt thickers by American crafts. I love those!!!!!! I've used some papers from my left overs and buttons + scrappers floss. The pen I have used is a brown slick writer, fine point.

Thanks a lot for stopping by!

Photo session

I made this layout today! I shot the photos in South of France last Summer - and I think the yellow background were perfect for a little photo session of my boys! I am very pleased with the photos and think that my boys looks very handsome (which mother doesn't say that about her child/children!?). Ha Ha.

I have used K&Company (green patterned paper + wordstickers). Basic Grey Lilykate line (the yellow patterned paper). Chatterbox (the red paper). Ric rac, MM "rummage" rubons for the title, journaling tag is DaisyDs and the circles are cut from a BG paper (Lilykate line). I've used Cat's eye pigment brush pad for the edges of the photos and the circles. I think it gives a great effect.

And I've been shopping a bit today! :) I have placed an order at Dreampapers - so now I wait for the postmand to arrive on Monday! I will receive MORE buttons!!! - more flowers, the new Scrapbooking mm. magazine (a Swedish magazine)... Can't wait till it's here!!!!!! :)

I just love buttons

Yeah - I just love buttons, and I wanted to use buttons on my next layout.

Here's the result. The photos are old (from Easter 2004) and they show my 2 boys turning upside down. he he!
Papers are DaisyD and Cosmocricket. I tried to use my new book "Love your handwriting" by Heidi Swapp - so I created the title myself. I think I need more practice, but it was fun to try it out. :)
I've put a bit of scrappers flot in each button as I think it gives a great effect. A lot of different techniques: Creative handwriting, paper tearing, doodling. I'm glad I finally got these pictures on a page.
Thanks for stopping by!

Lazy Days

Lazy Days is this layout called! The pics are from our Summer vacation in 2006 (south of France). The pics shows my DH and my 2 lovely sons.

I have used different primaflowers, BG chipboard for the journaling, buttons, scrappers floss, "bling" stickers for the flowers, the sun is a chipboard embellishment (DCWV).

We have just returned from Roskilde Festival! It was 4 days of fun, fun and fun! And this year we had A LOT OF RAIN as well! But we had a great time anyways. We didn't care about wet clothes (everything got totally wet - including our underwear!!!!!) Unbelieveable that Denmark has had soooo much rain.

We went to a lot of different concerts - and we looked very much forward to hear RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS! - but we got very dissapointed with their performance. The members of the band were totally wasted - I don't know what they had taken, but it was NO GOOD for the 70.000 people who had looked so much forward to hear them! They had absolutely no contact with us - they just stood their, closing their eyes and made a terrible show! ... soooo dissapointing!!

We took lots of pictures of the very wet ground (boats could practically sail there). I will show some photos here on my blog very soon!

Thanks for stopping by!
