Last day of November

Ohhh boy! November is over! Tomorrow it's the 1st of December!! Yikes!! Already time for Christmas. I can't believe how fast times fly! Well, I'm in a Christmas mood and have been creating a minibook for the pictures from last Christmas (2006). I haven't put the pictures in it yet, but it will come as soon as I get them. :-)

But first I will show a layout I did for the newest OLW-challenge. OLW = "One Little Word". The word is LIVE. I chose to create a page about Live in the Moment, which I find very important, and which I try to live by!

The album I've used for this page is a 7gypsies album, 5 x 7 Ring book, which I received in Dreampapers to a big crop I participated in last June.
It was fun creating this page. :-)

And here comes the mini Christmas album (MAZE book). I followed a link to craft TV and then I tried creating my own little book. What amazes me is that I've only used ONE piece of 12 x 12 paper to make an entire album. That's so great! :-) And I've used lots of left overs to cover the pages with Christmas papers. Fun, fun stuff to do! :-)

Front cover.

Some of the photos are a bit blurry - but I hope you get the idea anyways. It's so cool that this little album can hold a lot of pictures + a lot of journaling. I plan to put 15 pictures in it and then journaling on rest of the pages. COOL! :-)

Thank you for visiting me! It is very appreciated.

2 layouts - just for fun.

I've made two layouts just for fun. :-) And I did have a lot of fun creating them.

This one is called "Vand" which means "Water". The pic. shows my two boys and their grandma. It's taken at a lake in Sweden - in the Summer of 2004. I have used a little of this and a little of that.
Background paper is Basic Grey"Infuse". The half-circle with journaling on it is made with a template. Brown buttons are bought over at Scrapbooktikken. Scrappers floss, tags, QK Sandcastle, Thickers "Eggnog" for the title. And the little bird is made with an Autumn Leaves clearstamp by Rhonna Farrer.

Here's a layout called "sød" which means "cute". The photos are old as they are taken in Dec. 1999. It's my youngest son as a baby! Ohhhh - he really was such a little cutie! :-)
Background paper is Bazzill. All patterned papers are "One Heart ... One Mind". Old papers which have been in my stash for ages now! I think they match the pics. perfectly. Then I've used Thickers (also "Eggnog" alphas) for the title, yellow Prima flowers, a blue button, scrappers floss, Dot sparklers for the center of the flowers, Autumn Leaves bird and flower clearstamps by Rhonna Farrer, jounaling clearstamp is also Autumn Leaves. And a little piece of ribbon with babyfeet on it. How cute is that!?? I have received the ribbon from a swap long time ago.

Thank you very much for stopping by. I appreciate your visits.

Altered item + shopping

My wonderful dad turned 60 years old last week. I wrote him a song and I made a "box" for the songs, which went around the tables, for all to see. He had 61 guests for a great dinner, great wine, great music and a wonderful atmosphere.
Here's the box with the songs in it:

I have used papers from Sassafras Lass "Luscious", flowers (some are Prima) and my own handwriting for "Tillykke" which means "Congratulations".
Originally the box is a box for washing powder.

Yesterday I received some goodies from KTcrafts. It's first time I've been ordering from there, but certainly not the last. The goodies are soooooo yummy!! And I can't wait to play with them.
Here's a photo:

Thank you very much for visiting my little corner of the web.

Sketch layout.

I have made this layout for a little competition over at Li Om Hjørnet. It was so much fun creating this layout. I loved using all the K&Company goodies (papers and flowers) and I love the color turquoise.

Here's the sketch (made by Marianne aka The Scrap Cat)

And here's my take on it:

The winner was found by a draw ... and it wasn't me who won, but I'm very satisfied with my layout and I loved using the sketch!
The picture shows my DH and me (2 years ago) on our trip to the wonderful London!

Thank you for stopping by!

Scraplift

Over at The Scrap Cat Forum we have a little cybercrop/challenge. I have made a scraplift of a layout from Twopeas, made by justem. Her layout is called "Hey blondie".

Here's what I came up with!

Backgroundpaper is Wild Asparagus "my grandma". Then I have used different leftovers. Buttons, scrappers floss, American Crafts Thickers "Eggnog", sticker word "Amazing" are K&Co. White acrylic paint for the snow dots.

At the Scrap Cat forum I take part in a Christmas calender. I'm supposed to send 4 different scrapbook-presents to 6 different people - so I have to send 24 little gifts. I will receive 24 little gifts as well. From Dec. 1st to Dec. 24th I will open a present a day! How fun is that?? I look soooo much forward to it. :-)
Here's the 24 little presents from me which will go in the mail tomorrow or Tuesday!

I hope you will have a wonderful Sunday!

Magazines every where!!

Yesterday I looked at all my scrapbooking magazines!! Oh my Lord! I have 70!!! of them. Some are old now (the oldest are from 2003) and I thought I had to get rid of them. I started to read some of them - and I did find something I could use. What a surprice. I read in an old Memory Makers from 2004 and I got really surpriced to see LOs with buttons on them. I really thought this was a NEW kind of embellishment, but apperently not. LOL!

The first magazine I bought was Memory Makers. I received it every month for a little more than 2 years. Then I got Simple Scrapbooks for a long period. In between I bought a lot of different issues and now I buy the Swedish magazine Scrapbooking mm. and the Danish one "My Scrap Corner". I think it's so great looking at all the different talents and styles. I just LOVE my magazines! And I can't get rid of one signle issue. :-)

I have made this bookmark! It's for my Xmas cookbook.

And finally I have made this Summer layout. These pictures have been laying here for a long time now - and I didn't know what to do with them. One day I decided that NOW was the time to make a layout using them. And here's the result. I had a lot of fun using flowers, buttons, butterflies and Summmer-photos. :-) The butterflies are cut from a patterned paper.

Thank you for your visit. I'll talk to you soon.

Another challenge layout

This layout is a scraplift of Heather Prins' layout over at unpubbed!

I managed to put 5 pictures on a lettersize layout. It wasn't easy - but I like how it turned out. The pictures shows my cute nephew and they are taken a year ago. In October last year we had
a LOVELY weather - he's wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Backgroundpaper is an old one I had (HOTP - Paper Pizazz). Red mats are Chatterbox.

I have received the "YOU MAKE ME SMILE AWARD"
from Scrappelise in Norway, Pialine, Betina og Jette.
Thank you very much, girls! :-)

And now I'm supposed to give it to 7 other people!:
* Dorthe - my good friend and a great collegue
* LaChris - a new online friend who makes so cheerful layouts
* Mh72 - Marianne - who loves words! And who makes the greatest layouts
* Marie/Marolle - who also scraps lettersize layouts every now and then. A sweet online friend.
* Wati in Singapore - Wati has a GREAT style! I love her work! and I love stopping by her blog.
* Charlotte - Ravn Design - My name-twin! LOL! And she makes the cutest cards ever. Makes me smile!!
* Ingrid in the Netherlands - My long lost penpal. I love Ingrids work! And her blog i awesome - very dynamic. A lot is happening over there and I'm just so glad we "found" each other again!

My sweet collegue and great friend, Dorthe, has asked me to come up with a challenge for her: *Use brown colors
*At least 2 photos

*Use at least 10 buttons

*Use ribbon
*Handwriting

So - there you go Dorthe! I look forward to see what you come up with! :-)

Thank you very much for stopping by!
