New stuff

I have made the following layout for the challenge over at Scrapdragons. It was so much fun! I loved playing with my paint, but I don't do it often enough, I think. I have created a page about my all time favourite band! DEPECHE MODE!! I really love their music! For 18 years I've been a BIG fan of the band. And this is not my first layout about DM :-)

The challenge is to incorporate the following three things:
1. Use pink somewhere in your layout i honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
2. Use the word "ART" somewhere in your layout.
3. Use paint somewhere on your layout.

.... And here's my result:

For almost a week I had the following layout laying on my scrap-table! I thought it was a difficult one to do! I had the papers I wanted to use and I knew that I wouldn't have too many embellishments on it, as the photos are so colorful! Well, here's the result .... after thinking A WHOLE WEEK about what to do!! hihi! :-)

Here it is. This layout is called "Staying over night". Two of the kids are my own the the two others are my nephew and niece. :-) And I've used buttons!! I just loooove buttons! Papers are Scenic Route.

I'm so happy

I am so very happy! Today I found out I won a challenge over at TheScrapCat-Forum - a new Danish forum! And the prize is awesome!! The challenge was to get inspiret by a picture of a shirt with circles on it. I chose to use the colors from the shirt and also some circles and dots. The pictures shows my youngest son sleeping on his swing. (back in 2001). I love the pictures!

Yay! It's Friday!

Now it's finally Friday! I had an early day at my job - so the weekend is nice and long! Ahhhhh! :-)

I did a layout for the new challenge blog Scrappin Kids. The challenges will be all about our little ones. 4 mothers have started this blog and it seems to be a GREAT place! Go and check it out!!

Challenge #1: Remember the time when you just delivered your lil one or maybe upon hearing the 1st cry or even the moment you first got to know of their existence?Were you happy, excited, nervous, anxious, calm, in pain?This challenge is all about your feelings….your emotions……

Here's my take on the challenge:

I have made a layout about my youngest son. (He's now 8 years old). When I gave birth to him in 1999 it was a bit of a drama. The umbilical cord was around his neck twice - so he wasn't well when he was born. The nurses were very quick and they helped him out - all very professional. This is what the journaling is about. This page is called "Perfect" because he IS perfect! A lovely little guy! :-)

The next layout is made for a challenge over at Scrapbookexpress - a Norweigean forum.
The challenge is: Use 2 Summer pictures, journaling, a title, ribbon and eyelets.

And this is what I came up with:

It's the first time I've worked with this format (12x6). I had so much fun!! And I'm sure I will try it again! Sorry the photo is a bit dark! The pictures are from 2004, when we were in Croatia.

I've tried making my own Halloween decorations! I saw these little fellows in a scrapbooking magazine (Scrapbooking mm. - a Swedish magazine). I had to try to make some of my own!

Relaxing Sunday

It's so nice that it's Sunday! I have some time for myself and my hobby today as my DH is out with some friends at some racing center for gocarts. So I have been scrapping! :-)

I've made this LO for the Unpubbed blog. I have scrapliftet Cheryl Wrays wonderful LO called "I cherish my life". Here's my take on it!

My layout is called "funny guys" and is about my two sons who have a great sense of humour! :-)

.... And look a this! This is our daily visitor in the garden! A little squirrel. He is soooo cute. He's coming every single day! And it's so cosy. My DH tried to take some good shots, but it wasn't the easiest thing to do! That little squirrel is so fast and is so shy! But here's a little shot of him! Isn't he the cutest!??

The photo is a bit dark, but I hope you can see him!
