Rovinj - Croatia

Here's the double layout I have been talking about. Over at Tamaras we had to use a double sketch for this week - and here's my result. It's the first time I've created a double 12 x 12 layout and it was very difficult for me to make the two pages match each other. I liked the challenge though! And I'm pretty satisfied with the result.
The pictures are taken in Rovinj (2004) - a wonderful town in Croatia. I'm really in the mood for creating vacation layouts these days, as we are going to Italy on Saturday!! Yiippiiieeeeeee!! I can't wait! Untill then I have a lot of hours at work *sigh*!! But now I can see the end of the tunnel! :-)

Here's my latest DT work for Sketches! By Tamara.
First one is sketch #51. I love the pictures of all 5 kids (the two of them are mine and the rest are my brothers). They are best friends and they enjoy very much to play together. One of these pics. is used to do big pencil drawing for my mom (a gift from my dad). It's on their livingroom wall now. How nice is that!? :-)


2nd one is sketch #53.
I LOVE LONDON! I was so lucky to go there with my DH in July 2005 for 3 days. We enjoyed this big city very much and we saw a lot, shopped a lot, walked a lot, laughed a lot. :-) We have great memories from there.

Another Unpubbed layout

This layout has been sitting on my desk for 1½ week. Somehow I couldn't finish it. Today I sat down, pushed myself to FINISH this project and I like the final result. I've been scraplifting Crissy over at Unpubbed. I liked her layout very much!! Go over at see it for yourself - it's called "Clear".

The photo I've used is taken in Sommerland Sjælland last Summer. We had a very grey sky and some rain, but my husband, my brother and the 4 oldest kids jumped into the water anyways. hehe. They got very cold, but the LIKED it. brrrrr. Look at that grey sky!!!

4 days off

YEAH!! Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday we are OFF work.
We will go to ROSKILDE FESTIVAL. And the weather will be so great this year!! Now I hardly can't wait anylonger. We are going to hear a lot of bands and I look very much forward to hear SPLEEN UNITED!! They really rock!! Esp. their tune "Suburbia". We will also go to concerts with Duffy, Radiohead, Band of Horses, Veto, L.O.C. (Danish), Alphabeat (Danish) to mention a few!! It's going to be WILD! :-)
Our boys are going to their grandmom (my mother in law) on a little vacation. ;-)

Well, this layout I did for a sketch competition over at Scrap is Fun. The rule was to use cherries somewhere on the layout and to follow the sketch of course.
Again the pictures are old ones. They are from 2003. My boys loooooved these rabbits! :-)
Background paper is n old Chatterbox. The arrow is grungeboard (Tim Holtz), Prima flower, button and journaling tags are Heidi Swapp. The stamps with the bird on it is fancy pants desgin.
