Some fun challenges

I've created two more layouts. Both are challenge-layouts and both challenges were VERY cool!

First one I did for Sisterhood of Scrap
The challenge was: Use a songtitle as the title of your layout. I wanted to use some rainy day photos and I wanted to tell the story of HOW MUCH it rained in the Summer of 2007 here in Denmark. It was totally ridiculous! ... and very, very boring! I chose to use the songtitle "Here comes the rain again" (by Erythmics). And I had so much fun creating this layout.

Next challenge layout I did for Dreamgirls challenges. A great new challenge blog!
The challenge is: Create a layout using the name of a reality show as your title. Your layout must include some form of stamping and you must use felt somewhere.
I wanted to use a photo of my DH, reading a book in the sun while laying in our hammock. I used the reality show title "Simple Life". The little jounaling box is stamped and I've used som felt under the photo (the swirls). I loved creating this layout too!!

The paper is so cool. It's My Mind's Eye "Bohemia".

Thanks a lot for stopping by. I appreciate all visits.

2 more crop layouts

I've done two more layouts for the week-long crop over at Sisterhood of Scrap. It's GREAT challenges the girls have come up with! :-)

For Pearls B-I-N-G-O challenge.
Here's her words:
"My challenge for you today is to to take inspiration from the game of Bingo- use a Bingo card or use numbers on your layout if you don't have one; or some sort of dab paint ( as you would on a Bingo card ) ...Using BINGO cards continue to be a hot trend in scrapbooking this year so if you haven't tried it why not now ?"

It's not how I'm used to create layouts, but it was fun to try something else. The Bingo-card is printed from the internet.

Next challenge-layout is made for Carla's ROOK Challenge.
Here's what she said:
"A rook is a bird in the crow family and is very similar to the crow. In the game of ROOK, the Rook Bird card is the highest trump card in the game. As such, it takes any trick in which it is played.
My challenge for you today is to use a bird on a layout or card, and include some stitching -- either faux or real.

And here's my result:

I've used a Pagemaps Sketch. And the birdstamp is a Rhonna Farrer stamp. The flowerstamp is a Stampendous stamp. And I've used my watercolor pens to give them some color.

Thanks to all who stop by and give me comments! :-)

Sisterhood Anniversary Crop

Over at Sisterhood of Scrap (one of my faveourite blogs) there's an One-Year-Anniversary-Crop going on for the whole week. There's a lot of great challenges and I'm participating in some of them. So far I've created two layouts for the challenges and I've planed to create more over the weekend!
First one I did was for the Scrabble Challenge, hosted by Susan
She gave us 10 letters (TASMABBORF) and we had to create a word for the title out of these 10 letters. It was so much fun! I made a layout about ABBA - the great Swedish band (back in the 70's). And here's what I came up with:

The next one I did was for the TAG challenge, hosted by Carla. Here's the rules:
My challenge for you is to create a layout/card or altered item that has at least THREE tags. Also include flowers.

And here's my take on the challenge:

The big blue flowers are made with a foamstamp and acrylic paint. :-)

Thank you very much for stopping by! I appreciate all visits.
